Warning: Mild angst

- For the past week, Kei had been making excuses whenever you asked to meet him. It’s like he didn’t want to see you. So, you decided to visit him at Starless to put an end to this once and for all.
- When you stormed into the office, his back was to you, and without waiting for him to turn around, you began, “Kei, enough is enough! Are you trying to break up with me, or have you lost interest in me? If so, then let’s put an end to this relationship righ-”
- You felt a lump in your throat the moment your eyes landed on Kei’s face – colorless visage, dark circles under his eyes, red in his sclera, and no light in his usually bright blue eyes.
- In a panic, he embraced you and apologized, assuring you that he didn’t want to break up with you.
- “Kei…what’s wrong?” You asked, feeling a pang in your heart.
- “I apologize for ignoring you. Due to the constant release of new shows, I was overloaded with work and did not wish for you to see me in my current state.” Kei loosened his grip around you and forced a smile, “I want to give you happiness, not stress…forgive me. I promise to make it up to you.”
- Rather than forgive him verbally, you cupped his cheeks and captured his lips in a deep kiss. Never again would you doubt his intentions.

- You teamed up with Mizuki to pull a harmless prank on Team C – a little splash of water on the members for chuckles and giggles. As soon as the five members walked out of the locker room, you doused them with water.
- Unfortunately for you, they decided to get ready ahead of time for their performance, and your prank ruined the hours of effort Qu put into their makeup.
- “I am s-so sorry, I didn’t k-,” you started to apologize, but Mokuren’s cold gaze forced you to swallow your words. You tried to apologize again, but this time directly to Qu. Much to your shock, he ignored you and went back into the locker room.
- After their performance was over, Qu found you near the rooftop area, staring at the setting sun. He rested his hand on your midback and spoke soft, “I am sorry for my behavior earlier. Had our makeup not been so complicated, I wouldn’t have gotten mad.”
- “It was…supposed to be a harmless p-prank…”
- “I know,” Qu smiled and rubbed soothing circles on your back, “but next time please make sure we are not in our performance outfits.”

- You watched Hari practice Team C’s new song, but for some reason, he was pushing himself a lot more than usual.
- “So, how was that?” He asked, catching his breath.
- Wanting to lighten his mood, you pretended to be Mokuren and playfully criticized his moves; but instead of laughing, Hari’s expressions darkened.
- “And you think you could dance better? If so, by all means, show me.”
- His tone was anything but joking, leaving you speechless. Without saying a word, you stood up, gathered your belongings, and left the rehearsal room. Regret began to fill Hari’s mind, and he immediately chased after you.
- ”(Y/n), please stop for a moment,“ he gently grabbed your hand, “My words were uncalled for, and I apologize. Mokuren has…been exceptionally harsh with me for the past few days. No matter how much effort I put into practice, they criticize me for the smallest of reasons. I…did not mean to project that anger onto you.”
- You faced your boyfriend and rested your hand on his chest, “Hari, Mokuren is a perfectionist when it comes to dancing. You are working very hard, and I am sure they notice the effort you put in. After all, you are one of the most hardworking members of Starless!”
- Hari smiled and ruffled your hair, “Thank you, (y/n). That means a lot, and I’m really sorry.”

- All you said to Sinju was to look at Yakou’s real intentions and see what he’s trying to do. Your words meant no harm, not to him, not to Yakou, not to anyone, but the argument escalated.
- Out of frustration, Sinju angrily said, “It doesn’t concern you!”
- Your heart broke at hearing his words, and as soon as he saw your expression, Sinju felt guilty. He watched you walk away, getting mad at himself for saying those words.
- He tried to text you, call you, but in the end, he approached you in person, but even then you chose to ignore him.
- Sinju wrapped his arms around your waist from behind and whispered an apology in a cracked voice.
- “I h-hurt Yakou in the past…and that’s why he is upset with me. I k-know he is out to get me, but I can’t be mean to someone who I think of as my friend,” Sinju rested his forehead on your shoulder and squeezed his eyes shut, “I have already lost Yakou’s friendship…I don’t want to lose you too. I didn’t mean those words, and you have every right to say what you want, especially if it’s for my own good. I am really sorry.”

- You teasingly said he looked prettier than usual; instead of rolling his eyes, Maica snapped at you. “Oh, so you consider me to be feminine as well? I would think you would know me better considering you’re dating me.”
- His words struck a nerve, and the two of you started arguing. You stormed out of the room, leaving a furious Maica behind. It took him a little while to calm down, but once he did, the singer realized his mistake.
- He found you in the break room and took a seat next to you. “Will you please let me explain myself?”
- Though you didn’t say anything, Maica took the liberty of continuing, “Right before I came to Starless today, a man tried to flirt with me and made unacceptable comments. I was enraged at him, and when you said the word ‘pretty’, it triggered my suppressed rage. Forgive me.”
- He sighed and took a tight hold of your hand, “It’s annoying when men try to hit on me. So…this is what women feel like when strangers hit on them? It’s not a great feeling.”

- Mizuki was going around kicking people and nearly ended up kicking you by accident. You got upset with him and told him to stop his childish ways before someone gets hurt.
- Your words didn’t settle well with him, and he gritted his teeth, “If ya think I’m a child, then why hell are ya datin’ me? Go fcking date someone grown up and mature.”
- His words didn’t hurt you as much, but how he said it, hurt you. You turned around and walked away without saying another word.
- Mizuki pretended nothing happened, but guilt bit away at him. He found you and handed you a bar of chocolate, mumbling a quiet sorry.
- “You know, Mizuki, you’re right. I will go find someone who is not childish,” you frowned and took the chocolate bar before walking away.
- Mizuki yelled a no and threw his arms around you from behind. He stayed silent for a while but refused to let you go.
- “Everyone always leaves me…my parents, friends…and even the fcking society…I don’t care about ‘em. But I don’t wanna live without ya.”
- Tears rolled down his eyes as he continued to apologize. “Don’t leave me…”

- While Rico was staring at his phone, you watched Kongou and Mizuki interacting. With a soft smile on your lips, you innocently said, “Kongou is so caring, strong, and gentle…not to mention very handsome.”
- Your boyfriend stared at you with a raised eyebrow, “He is also boring and likes giving lectures. Why are you ogling him? Is your mind also crawling into the gutters?”
- “Ogling…gutter? What the hell is wrong with you, Rico?” You snapped at him. “You can flirt with customers all day long and even invite them out with you, but I can’t politely compliment a guy?”
- Before Rico could retaliate, you turned your back to him and marched out of the room. After a moment of reflecting on his words, your boyfriend sighed and came to find you.
- “What do you want now? Leave me alone.”
- Rico wrapped his arms around you from behind and rested his chin on the top of your head. “I get insecure when you talk about other men…I know I flirt with others, but that’s part of my job. If I didn’t have to pay off my debt, I wouldn’t give them any attention. You know I only care about you, right?”
- Pay off his debt…right. You stroked his hand and sighed quietly, “I know…”
- Sometimes you forget the reason behind Rico’s bitterness – having to suffer for someone else’s mistake. You couldn’t help but wonder what he would be like if he didn’t have to bear such a heavy burden.

- Kokuyou looked like he was having a bad day, so you surprised him with a friendly hug to divert his mind. Unbeknownst to you, Akira was close by and saw the hug.
- When you found your boyfriend smoking in the back alley, he looked angry. Out of the blue, he turned his head to you and growled, “Are my hugs not enough that you have to get hugs from Kokuyou?”
- For a moment, you stared at him in shock before turning around and ran back into Starless. The second he saw tears in your eyes, Akira knew he had messed up badly.
- “Babe, I’m sorry.”
- He tried to apologize while making cute faces and even sang a song for you, but when his efforts failed, Akira rested his forehead on your shoulder.
- “I got into an argument with Kokuyou, and right after, I saw you hugging him. Will you forgive me?” The singer flashed a small smile, “I have been feeling lost lately. It’s like I’m walking around in the dark…if I stop, there is nothing but darkness, and if I continue walking, there is nothing but darkness.”
- His unexpected words came as a shock to you. “A-Akira?”
- “(Y/n), you are my light in the dark…and I’m afraid that the darkness will consume you too. Don’t leave me side…‘kay?”

- Stress. Stress. Stress. Ever since you woke up this morning, all you felt was stress. By the time you reached Starless, your head was pounding, and your body felt drained.
- “Sin, please talk normally…,” you mumbled and plopped onto the office couch, “I have no energy to decode Singo.”
- Out of habit, your boyfriend accidentally spoke two cryptic phrases, and that was enough to throw you overboard. “Can’t you go one day without talking in riddles? Not everyone has a godly IQ like you!”
- He watched you with wide eyes as you stormed out of the room. When Sin found you in the back alley, you were kneeling, hunched over with your hands holding your head as tears streamed down your cheeks.
- He kneeled next to you and whispered an apology. Shaking your head, you began telling him about your bad day.
- “I am s-sorry,” you buried your face in his chest, still sobbing, “I didn’t m-mean to snap.”
- Sin held you close to him and let you cry out your frustration. Had you looked up at him, you would have seen a rare, pained expression carved on his face. There aren’t many things that hurt Sin, but your tears…that’s a different story.
