Awkward Situations
Prompt: How would they react in awkward situations?
Gender: gn!Reader

- While Leona was napping, you sat next to him and talked to a family member on the phone. As your call came close to an end, he began to wake up.
- “Alright, then, I will talk to you later. Bye! Love you~.”
- “Yeah, yeah…I love you too.”
- You slowly turned your head towards the groggy lion and stared with your lips parted. ‘Did he just confess to me?’
- Realizing what he said, Leona’s eyes shot open, and heat rushed to his cheeks. He felt your gaze on him but refused to look up at you.
- “Leona…did you just…?”
- “Did I what?” He asked, abruptly sitting up and yawning while stretching his arms. “I didn’t say anything.”
- “No, you just said you love me.”
- “Keep dreaming, herbivore.” He stood up and glanced at you out of the corners of his eyes. “Are you just gonna sit there? You’re going to be late for class…”
- “I…WHAT? Professor Trein is going to kill me!” You gathered your belongings and hopped to your feet before running towards the classroom.
- After you left, Leona exhaled, closed his eyes, and touched his fingertips to his temple. ‘What the hell did I just say? Why did I say it?’
- He got away for the time being, but what was he supposed to say when you asked him again? ‘Why did I fall for the herbivore? Wait, why am I thinking about this?’
- Leona growled and sat back down, “I need another nap.”
- You were heading to your next class and came up to a narrow staircase at the same time as Malleus. The two of you couldn’t go up the staircase together, at least not without getting stuck.
- The dragon smiled and stepped back, “My dearest Child of Man, you may go first. Seem as though you may be running late to class.”
- “No, that’s alright,” you politely said, stepping away from the staircase. “You can go first.”
- Malleus shook his head and chuckled at the unusual situation, “I insist.”
- “No, please go ahead. You came to the staircase first.”
- Seeing that this conversation was going nowhere, Malleus sighed quietly. “Do forgive me.”
- Before you could ask what he meant, the prince walked closer to you, rested his large hand on the back of your neck, placed the other hand flat against the back of your knees, and picked you up in his arms. “We shall both go up at the same time.”
- Malleus found your red face amusing and cute. While he carried you up, all you could do was cover your mouth and hide your face in his neck. But you were not complaining.
- You were accompanying Jade in the Mostro Lounge, and while he wiped the counters, you leaned against the headrest of one of the sofas.
- “Yeah, I completely agree…Crewel can be a little tough on students, but he means well,” you chuckled, watching him meticulously clean. “None of the professors scare me, but do any of them scare you, Floyd?”
- Jade froze in place but managed to move his eyes to your face. You quickly covered your mouth and gulped. “I am so sorry!”
- He didn’t say anything, nor did he move, but the eel stared intensely at you, making you uncomfortable.
- “W-What? Why are you staring like this?”
- Jade started to walk towards you, his steps slow and short. He took one step forward, you took one step back, and this continued until your back touched the glass wall.
- Pinning you against the wall, Jade lowered his face to your height as a twisted grin appeared on his lips. “Are you perhaps interested in my brother? Have you lost interest in me?”
- The darkness in his eyes and smile made your legs shake. At that moment, Jade realized he was scaring you and chuckled. He pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead and apologized. “I am merely jesting with you, my dear. No need to get frightened, but kindly do not refer to me as Floyd again.”
- You wanted some help with homework and visited Azul, but as you got closer to his office door, you heard a sound coming from inside. ‘Is someone laughing…not more like cackling?’
- The door was slightly ajar, so you took the liberty of pushing it open and entering. Azul was sitting in his chair, facing the metal safe door, and laughing away.
- ‘What’s so funny that he’s cackling to himself like this? Did he go back to making trap contracts with students?’
- Still laughing, the octopus spun around towards his desk, and the moment he saw you, his laughter slowly faded from an ahahaha to ahaha to aha to ah…ha…silence. How long had you been standing there, listening to him laughing like a madman?
- “Hi, Azul. Am I…interrupting something?”
- He cleared his throat and composed himself, “Not at all. Please take a seat.”
- “Thanks,” you sat down, your eyes still fixed on his face, “so what were you laughing at?”
- Azul averted his eyes and tugged on his bowtie, his cheeks rapidly changing colors. “N-Nothing…”
- He would never tell you that you were the reason behind his laughter. Before you came to Octavinelle, Jade informed Azul about a few students at NRC being interested in you, but you were interested in him. The dorm leader was pleased to learn that and couldn’t stop laughing at how he managed to crush his competition and win your heart.

- Riddle was exhausted from dealing with his dorm members, classmates, and the mess Adeuce made in the NRC courtyard. He wanted to go straight to his room and curl up on his bed, but he saw you in the middle of the walkway, examining your right forearm.
- He could barely focus and didn’t think it was a good idea to talk to anyone, but out of concern, he approached you. ”(Y/n), are you alright?“
- “I somehow injured my arm and am heading to the infirmary.”
- “I see. Have fun.”
- As soon as he saw the puzzled look you were giving him, Riddle realized what he said and began turning crimson out of embarrassment. His mind drew a blank to the point where he couldn’t bring himself to apologize.
- “Thanks? I will get going…”
- The dorm leader felt guilty and wished he could dig a hole and crawl inside it.
- After a while, Riddle came to check on you. To your surprise, he not only brought Cater, Trey, and Acedeuce but also balloons, flowers, and a tray of desserts.
- “Riddle? What is all this?”
- A shade of red painted his face as he handed you a bouquet of yellow roses, white daisies, and pink peonies. “I apologize for what I said earlier. Since I said have fun, I wish to make your stay in the infirmary fun.”
