By Kiara | November 5, 2024 Describing Pain Through Lips Twisted and contorted Lip quivering slightly Parted because the character is having trouble breathing Tightly pursed in frustration Clenched, especially if the character likes to tough through it Twisted in a grimace Lips pressed firmly together Lips feeling taut/strained Parted to let out a cry, hiss, or whimper Lips twitching in response to pain Frowning, corners curled down Dry, chapped, cracked lips Biting down on lip, lip pulled between teeth White/pale lips Red, swollen from biting down on lip Wrinkles around the corners from keeping lips tightened Lips moving but no sound (feeling too much pain to sleep) Lips parted because they can’t breathe through their nose Drawn back, revealing teeth (almost like a snarl but due to intense pain or anger stemming from pain)
