Hidden Pain
Prompt: How would Simeon, Leviathan, Satan, Diavolo, Barb, Asmo, and Luke react to MC coming with puffy and red eyes and smiling like it’s nothing and trying to hide it, but her eyes are saying the opposite?
Gender: fem!Reader
A/N: Luke platonic.

- At first, Diavolo took your smile as if you were okay, but the more he stared at your face, the more he realized that you were anything but okay. He wondered why you were hiding your pain from him and actually felt hurt.
- He didn’t want to force any words out of you, so instead, he enveloped you in a warm hug and whispered, “Were you crying? (Y/n), I repeatedly tell you that I love to see you smile, but that doesn’t mean you need to smile all the time, especially when you are in pain. I will help you with anything you need- all you have to do is ask. So please, don’t hide your tears from me.”
- If you choose to tell him the reason behind your tears, he will listen and help you find a solution. If you continue to hide your feelings from him, Diavolo will try to distract you for the time being. He will still be waiting for you to tell him the truth, though.

- One look at you was enough to tell him that you were not okay. He didn’t want to push you to tell him the reason and figured you didn’t want him to worry about you. It would take Barbatos mere seconds to confess the reason behind your pain, but that would mean forcing you to tell him something you don’t want him to know.
- Barb touched your cheek gently and said, “I often worry about your well-being, but I worry the most when you hide your feelings from me. I shall not force you to tell me the reason behind your tears, but know I am here for you.”
- The butler took hold of your hand and pressed a light kiss on the back of it. “I have baked your favorite dessert. Would you like to eat some?”

- His smile fell flat when he saw your red and puffy eyes. You were crying a moment ago, so why were you forcing a smile for him? Were you trying to be strong, or did you not want him to worry?
- Simeon wrapped an arm around your shoulder and led you inside your room before sitting you on the bed. He kneeled in front of you and took a firm hold of your shaking hands. “Your pain is visible in your eyes. You have no need to pretend to be alright. When you force a smile…it’s painful for me to look at it…”
- The angel pressed a kiss to both your hands and smiled sadly at you, waiting for your answer. He was not going to leave your side until you told him the truth.

- You couldn’t lie to him about being okay, especially not with bloodshot eyes and puffy eyes. But why were you pretending to be fine?
- Asmo cupped your face and pressed a kiss to your forehead before looking you in the eyes.
- “Sweetie, you don’t need to lie to me about being alright. I know I can be judgmental, but when it comes to you, I would never. Why were you crying? Did one of my brothers hurt you? Did I say something to hurt you? If so, I am sorry.”
- Asmo would get to the bottom of this, as seeing his favorite person in pain was unacceptable.

- Initially, Luke thought you were fine and were just tired, but the more time he spent around you, the more unsettled he felt. Something was off…and you were not being your usual self. Were you sad?
- The young angel held your hand, led you closer to the sofa in the living room, and stood up on the couch. He wrapped his arms around your neck.
- “Please don’t be sad. You think of me as a friend, don’t you? You don’t need to cry by yourself when your friend is here.”
- Luke released you from the hug and wiped your eyes with his fingertips. “Tell me what I can do to make you happy! I promise to do anything you ask.”

- Satan knew in a second that you had been crying, and no amount of smiles or “I’m okay” was going to convince him that you were fine. Logic told him to ask questions to figure out why you were upset, but his heart told him to hug you and not let go.
- He gently wrapped one arm around your waist and rested the other on the back of your head. “It’s alright to be sad – you don’t need to smile and say otherwise. I want to know the reason behind your sadness, but it’s fine if you don’t want to tell me. Would you prefer we talk, or would you prefer that I distract your mind?”
- Satan is going to keep a closer eye on you from now on. He didn’t realize that you are the type of woman who bottles up her feelings, and he cannot accept that. Whatever he can do to make you happy, he will do it.

- He took your smile at face value, but for some reason, Levi felt uneasy. The aura around you didn’t seem happy, so why were you smiling? It took him a bit, but he eventually understood that you were hiding your pain.
- His chest tightened at the thought of you crying alone in your room. If he asked you, would you tell him? Levi debated a little but eventually came to the conclusion that you shouldn’t have to bear your pain all alone.
- He nervously hugged you from behind, not wanting you to see his face, and whispered, “I k-know I am not the best person to talk to about e-emotions, but…if you are sad…don’t hide it from me. I want to help you if I can, and even if I can’t, I want to try. So, will you tell me why you were crying?”
