Homewrecker Luci

Prompt: Could you please do Dia/Barb/Asmo/Beel/Satan/Luci reacting to MC, upon being introduced to Lucifer, joking, “So you’re the homewreaker that ruined my great-grandparents’ marriage!” because their great-grandmother became convinced that he was her angelic lover in a past life and ran away to join a convent in hopes of becoming saintly enough that she would be allowed to rejoin him in the Celestial Realm as an angel.

Gender: gn!Reader

Warning: Angst in some hcs.

A/N: Platonic.

Luci Banner
  • Homewrecker? Lucifer wasn’t sure what you meant by that, but he assured you that he has never met your great-grandmother.
  • When you explained to him that she joined a convent in hopes of meeting him in the Celestial Realm one day, a variety of expressions crossed his face, eventually settling into a light blush.
  • “Lucifer, are you b-blushing?” You asked, trying to suppress a chuckle.
  • “I’ve no idea what you speak of,” he replied bashfully.
  • The Avatar of Pride was a bit sad that he didn’t get to meet the woman who was convinced about being his angelic lover. Though he does wonder how she would’ve reacted if they had met.
Diav Banner
  • Diavolo laughed wholeheartedly when he heard what your great-grandmother did.
  • Humans truly are fascinating, but he found your great-grandma’s actions innocent and sweet. On the other hand, he wondered what your great-grandfather thought of this.
  • Diav started to think about how lucky Lucifer was. The prince had many people who worshipped him, gave him sacrifices in exchange to fulfill their wishes, even gave them their souls to him, but never once had someone loved him.
  • Diavolo knows he was the devil, but he thought it would be nice if someone could shower him with love. If only someone like that existed. Then again, he was a prince, so politically marriage was most likely going to be his best option.
  • Whatever his future hold, Diav knows he’s going to have to continue to smile and push forward, no matter how sad he gets.
  • Ah, love can truly make a person do crazy things, but Asmo was a bit jealous that Lucifer got that kind of attention. If only your great-grandmother had done that for him.
  • The Avatar of Lust started to wonder what your grandma would’ve done if she met the angel Luci, and what she would’ve done if she met the demon Luci. Would she still have stayed devoted to him?
  • Being the demon of lust, he couldn’t help but love everyone, but he questioned if someone would’ve done that for him when he was in the Celestial Realm. Asmo hated to admit that sometimes he missed being up there, but he didn’t mind being his current self either – at least he had more freedom now.
  • Pushing aside all his thoughts, the younger brother held onto Lucifer’s arm and chuckled playfully, “You look so cute with that blush. Thank you, (y/n), for making my usually strict, no-fun brother blush.”
Satan Banner
  • Satan laughed and shook his head, “Your great-grandmother should’ve chosen someone else. If only she knew how ‘bad’ Lucifer was.”
  • His statement didn’t go down well with Lucifer, but the elder brother chose to ignore the words, not wanting to create drama in front of you.
  • Though Satan made a snide remark, somewhere deep down he knew your grandmother would’ve been happy to meet the angel Lucifer. Through his shared memories, he had seen what type of angel his brother once was.
  • The Avatar of Wrath felt a sting in his chest, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t stop his mind from thinking about the one regret he had – why didn’t I get a chance to be an angel?
  • He knew the answer and knew he wouldn’t have existed, but even then, it hurt him. Satan wanted to ask Lucifer what his fault was, but he was aware that would only make his brother even more guilty.
  • “Satan?” Lucifer called out once again to his brother. “It’s unlike you to stay quiet when you have a chance to tease me.”
  • The Avatar of Wrath chuckled, “You know what…I take my words back, (y/n)’s great-grandmother would’ve loved the Morning Star.”
  • Everyone was shocked to hear Satan say something nice about his older brother, but Lucifer, on the other hand, smiled.
  • “Seems like hell may freeze today.” Though Lucifer joked, he saw right through Satan and knew what his brother had been thinking. The Avatar of Pride stared at his sibling with a look that said ’forgive me’.
  • Barb was impressed by how loyal your great-grandmother was to Lucifer. He began to wonder what your grandmother was like, then wondered how she would’ve behaved if she met Luci. Then his mind drifted to a place he never once thought about before – true love.
  • The demon butler had given his entire life to serving Diavolo and never thought about anything for himself.
  • He was not complaining as he truly didn’t mind standing by Diav’s side, but wouldn’t it be nice to have someone who could love you. Someone who could wrap their arms around you and kiss you. Someone who could spend time with you and make you smile – someone who could truly love him.
  • Barb chuckled to himself. Unfortunately, he was a demon, so the chances of that happening were slim. But who knows…maybe someday a crazy human or demon will cross his path – a person crazy enough to love him.
  • Beel didn’t really understand what homewrecker meant, but he found your great-grandma becoming a nun very cute. Normally he avoided thinking about the celestial realm, but your words brought him back to the old days – the days where everyone lived a strict but happy life.
  • Then again, the more he thought about it, the more he realized their life was better now. No higher power to tell them not to do this or that, not having to worry about always following the rules, and being able to eat all the food in the world without worrying about sinning.
  • The only regret he had was Lilith not being able to join them. Come to think of it your great-grandmother was very similar to Lilith – their actions were influenced by love.
  • Beel wasn’t able to reunite Lilith with the human she loved, but he wondered if your great grandma would be able to meet Lucifer.  But was that a good idea? He knew Lucifer still had bits of his old personality in him, but would your great-grandmother be okay with this darker Lucifer? Who knows. All this thinking was making Beel hungry again.
