Mini Me

Prompt: Scenarios with the first-year gang and fem reader meeting their future child.

Gender: fem!Reader

Prologue

NRC was facing another case of a spell gone wrong, but this time, you and your boyfriend were thrown into a black hole. When the two of you opened your eyes, a pair of wide innocent eyes stared back.

Ace Banner1

“Ace…why does this child look like you? Oh, is this you as a child? How cute!”

While you examined the child, Ace looked around the unfamiliar area before returning his attention to the child. “I hate to break it to you, but this is not my childhood home, and…(y/n), look closer. The child’s eyes are not the same as mine.”

“Oh, the child looks like you but has my eyes.”

The entire time, the child seemed puzzled but quietly listened to the two of you talking. Suddenly, the child said the two of you looked like mommy and daddy, startling you and Ace alike.

“Whaaat? Mommy and daddy?” The red-haired man took a step back, but the more he thought about the child’s words, the more the situation started to make sense. “Hey, (y/n), you…don’t think this is our…”

“Future child?”

For a second, both of you stared at each other, but Ace pried his eyes away from you and cleared his throat loudly. He took one good look at the child and smiled widely. “He looks just as good as me. Wonder when we’re gonna get married.”

Your cheeks glowed red upon hearing the word ‘married.’ The thought of you getting married to Ace made your heart flip in your chest. You were going to end up with the man you loved, and the proof of that was standing in front of you.

While you stared at the child with a tranquil smile, the scene in front of you started to fade. “W-Wait, I wanted to talk to him!”

A bright white flash followed, forcing you to close your eyes, and when you opened them again, you were back in the NRC courtyard. Ace saw your dejected expression and rested his hand on your shoulder. “Don’t be sad. We will meet him again in the future…maybe after we g-graduate?”

The corners of your lips curled up as your cheeks once again turned red. You squeezed his hand firmly and nodded, “After we graduate.”

DeuceBanner TWST

“(Y/n), this girl…” Deuce whispered close to your ear.

“She…looks like me…” you said, absentmindedly reaching your hand to touch her soft cheeks. The child remained in place as she shifted her eyes between you and your boyfriend. She lifted her small hand and pointed her index finger to the spade on Deuce’s eye.

“Papa has same mark as you,” she said in a sweet, high-pitched voice. The girl returned her round eyes to you and grinned, “And you look like mama.”

Both you and Deuce chorused an “EHHHH?”

He quickly turned his head away from you to hide his crimson cheeks. The thought of him having a child with you was too much for Deuce to handle. Had the two of you been in a familiar environment, he would’ve made a run for it and hid somewhere far away from you.

“Deuce, I don’t know why, but I feel connected to the child…I think we are in the future, and this is our child,” you muttered while stroking the girl’s smooth cheek. He didn’t look at you or the child and continued to stare at a nearby tree, growing deathly silent.

“Deuce? Are you alright?” You asked, but before he could reply, a bright white flash engulfed the two of you. When you opened your eyes, you were back in your dorm room with Deuce next to you. Feeling a bit sad that you didn’t get to spend more time with your future daughter, you sighed and glanced at your boyfriend.

“Deuce, what’s wrong?”

“I…I have a lot to prove to everyone, especially my mother, so…marriage and kids are not in my future plans for now. Um…”

You stepped in front of him and took hold of his hands, chuckling, “Is that what you were worried about the whole time? Deuce, I am happy that we’ll be having a child in the future, but I’m in no rush. Someday, I want to get married to you and have a family, and I’ll wait until we both are ready.”

Deuce felt the weight lift off his shoulders and gently encircled his arms around you. “Thank you for understanding.”

Jack TWST Ban1

“This child is so cute!” You squealed but instantly covered your mouth with your hands, hoping you didn’t scare her. “Look at those adorable little ears and that tail.”

While you excitedly gushed over the child, Jack stared at her intensely. He slowly leaned closer to her and sniffed the air, taking in her familiar scent. His eyes grew wide for a moment, but Jack quickly composed himself as best as he could, except his cheeks continued to glow vermillion.

“Jack? What’s wrong?” You asked, trying to get a glimpse of his turned face. “A-Are you blushing?”

You furrowed your brows and turned your attention back to the child. Then it dawned on you that the girl looked just like you when you were a kid. Her hair and eyes were the same color as yours; she was you, except for the ears and tail.

“Ears…and tail…,” you mumbled under your breath. “W-Wait a second…”

Gasping, you shifted your gaze between the child’s ears and Jack’s ears. “Jack…why does this child look like me, and why does she have your ears and tail?”

He continued to stare at the child without replying to your questions. The girl gave him a wide smile and sat down in front of him, mimicking his sitting style, “Papa, why does mama not recognize me? She can’t pick up on my scent?”

“M-Ma-Mama!?” You yelled and held onto your spinning head, “What is going on?”

“Seems like the spell brought us into the future. This child is our daughter…she has the same scent as us,” Jack answered calmly, not taking his eyes off the girl for even a second. Right as he finished talking, the black hole appeared beneath the two of you and brought you back to NRC.

“Jack, you were very calm about meeting our future daughter. But this means we are going to be together forever!” You giggled and threw your arms around him.

“What’s there to be excited about?”

Though his reply was blunt, his tail betrayed his words and wagged happily behind him. Jack was looking forward to the future more than before, especially meeting his daughter.

Epel Banner1

Epel stared at the boy and tilted his head. “Who are you? Why…do you look like me?”

“Oh, now that you mention it, he does look like you,” you giggled, “but his eye color is different.”

You looked at the bewildered child and smiled gently in an attempt to calm him down. “Hi, my name is (y/n), and this is Epel. Nice to meet you.”

The boy’s eyes widened, and he spoke in a timid voice, “Momma? Pa?”

“M-Momma…?” You chuckled at his cuteness and shook your head, “I don’t have a child, and neither does Epel. Why do you think we are your parents?”

“Your names…match ma and pa’s names. You…look like ‘em.”

While you spoke to the child, Epel looked around the area and realized it resembled his home back in the country. He didn’t pay much heed to your conversation until he heard the boy say, “Meemaw lives with us, too.”

“Meemaw?” Epel asked, taken aback. For a while, he stayed silent, trying to piece everything together. “(Y/n), I think we’re in the future…and this is o-our ch-child.”

“Our…c-child?” You repeated in disbelief and darted your eyes back to the purple-haired boy in front of you. “Epel, this means we are going to get married and…”

Your lips curled up as you tousled the boy’s neatly combed hair. “He looks just like you…”

Epel’s heart raced at the thought of marrying you one day. You were going to be all his, and this child would one day help complete the family Epel had always wanted. A gentle, warm light filled his vision, and when he opened his eyes, he saw the familiar NRC campus.

“Hey, Epel…,”

“Yes?”

“I look forward to getting married to you and meeting the boy – our boy again,” you whispered and buried your face in his neck.

Epel wrapped his arms around your waist, pushing aside his shy side, and smiled, “Me too.”

Sebek

“Where are w-” Sebek paused mid-way through his sentence when he saw a little boy standing in front of him. The child studied the half-fae with curious eyes before flashing a radiant smile. “Dad!”

“Dad?” You snapped your head towards the green-haired man, “S-Sebek, you have a child?”

“I don’t!” He immediately replied, “I don’t have time for children. My only duty is to watch over the Young Master.”

“But dad, you still watch over Lord Malleus and take care of mom and me,” the child replied, sounding mature for his age.

“Sebek!” You faced him and gripped his jacket, “What is the meaning of this?”

“Human! Let go of my jacket!” The tall man sighed and latched onto your fists, “(Y/n), I haven’t the slightest idea who this child is.”

“(Y/n)?” The child questioned, “That’s the name of my mom…and miss, why do you look like my mother?”

Your grip on Sebek’s uniform jacket loosened as your eyes shifted to the boy. “I look like your mother?”

Sebek scanned his surroundings and looked at the confused boy, “Child, what is today’s date?”

When the child revealed the date, both you and Sebek were speechless. You looked at your boyfriend and blinked, “We…are in the future? Wait that means…this child…”

Sebek stared at the boy wordlessly before looking at you out of his peripheral vision. He watched you kneel in front of the boy and shower him with compliments. The half-fae quietly studied your overjoyed expression with a frown. Soon, the two of you were surrounded by a blinding green light and brought back to the present time.

“That’s so unfair!” You whined, “I wanted to spend more time with my son…no, our son. He was so cute! He looked just like you. Oh no, I forgot to ask his name!”

Sebek never imagined he would get married, let alone have a child, and that too with you. He thought his entire life would be dedicated to serving the future king, and though he should’ve been irritated by this unexpected revelation, for some reason, Sebek was happy. His face didn’t reflect his feelings, but his heart felt at ease. Was it because he wanted to be with you all along? Maybe because he was happy to know you would be by his side? Whatever the case, the half-fae looked forward to meeting his son again.
