Struggles
Prompt: What things do the men have to struggle with?

- Not being able to wear fitted long-sleeve tops…his muscles somehow always rip the fabric.
- Scaring off people. He usually doesn’t care, but sometimes kids end up crying as soon as they see him. Jack’s not trying to be scary, but his height, scowling face, and muscles seem to frighten the kids.
- Having muscles and a brain. Neither seems like an issue, right? Except having muscles and being from Savanaclaw makes people think he’s a musclehead, and Jack DOES NOT like the stereotyping.
- People finding out that he loves his cacti. He’s a tough guy who likes cacti, so? Deal with it.
- Objects sticking to his tail. His tail may look fluffy and perfect, but it requires a lot of maintenance…sometimes hours of it…especially when hitchhiker plants are involved. Jack just shudders at the thought.

- Having a habit of laughing at everything – his friends know it’s him being a hyena, but the people who don’t know him think he’s being mean.
- People touching his ears. Most people take one look at Leona and Jack, and they don’t dare to ask them, “Can I touch your ears?”. Ruggie, on the other hand, looks sweet and is shorter than his dormmates, so people always try to grab his ears.
- Having to control his urge to eat anything and everything. What can he say? He’s a glutton.
- Waking up Leona every time…enough said.

- Height. Why do tall people have to put items in hard-to-reach places? Also, just because he’s short doesn’t make him a kid!
- Saying the word “off”. He can’t say that word without people thinking he’s going to say, “Off With Your Head”…he doesn’t use his magic that often to seal people, does he?
- Strawberry Tart. Why does such a delicious creation exist? It’s hard for him to resist the urge to eat one every time he sees them. Curse his sweet tooth.
- Perfectionist tendencies. His mind gets exhausted, but everything has to be perfect.

- Being a good cook. The amount of requests he gets for food is exhausting. He knows he’s good at making desserts, but can he please get a break?
- Teeth.Need.To.Be.Cleaned. He has to resist the urge of knocking on all the dormmates’ doors and asking if they cleaned their teeth.
- Glasses. The number of times Ace has hidden his glasses…Trey likes his glasses but sometimes wishes he could see without them.
- Hat hair. Once the fedora goes on, it stays on.
- Clothes and his horns. He can’t wear clothes that he has to put on over his head – Malleus is thankful for shirts, suits, and anything he can slide his arms into and cover his body. Also, hoods…it’s nice that his ceremonial robe has holes for his horns.
- Horns and height. Can people please design places for tall men with horns? He always ends up hitting a lot of door frames, chandeliers, and low tree branches.
- People are scared of him. He can’t even yawn without people being terrified and thinking he’s going to breathe fire. But he is used to it, he promises!
- Gargoyles. No one wants to hear him talk about his love for gargoyles, and the ones that do listen only do it out of respect or fear. Why do people find them scary?

- He would say height, except he can hang upside down and get what he needs from higher-up places. Haha, sorry, Riddle.
- Sharp hearing. Lilia likes that he can hear conversations and such from far away, but there are times when he wishes he couldn’t hear so well…especially when couples, screams, and high-pitched sounds are involved.
- Coloring his hair. He loves changing his hair color, but the toll it takes on his hair is no joke. Good thing he knows how to use magic.
- Remembering names. Ever tried remembering all your siblings’ names? Do you have more than 30 siblings, with new additions every time you return home? It’s a good thing his siblings don’t expect him to remember their names.
- Sneaking up on people. It’s difficult to sneak up on people when you are wearing jewelry with hanging gold coins.
- Accidentally rubbing his eyes. He looks like he has a black eye, and don’t even get him started with crying…all the eyeliner running down is hard to clean up.
- Cold weather. He’s used to it during the night, but in the daytime and with snow? No, thank you.
- Twining. Why do people get him confused with Jade? Their eye shapes, eye colors, and hairstreaks are different. Ever their dressing style and speaking manners are different. Floyd wishes people would pay attention to the details.
- Nicknames. He racks his brain to come up with creative nicknames. It’s difficult but fun!
- Desire to constrict. Sometimes, an eel just wants to wrap people and squeeze them, so why can’t he? It’s good that Azul sometimes grants his wish.
- Jade’s mushrooms. He loves his twin, but the mushrooms….the accursed fungi…just why?
