Prompt: What are the cast members thankful for?

Prologue:

Unei suggested the cast members write what they are thankful for so the customers can read them. But you had a better idea; why not get the cast members to thank each other?

“Thank each other?” Unei nervously asked.

“Right, but with a twist. I want the cast members to be paired up, and they can tell each other what they are thankful for with respect to their partnered cast member.”

Unei was confused but didn’t argue, curious to see how this would go down. Nothing could be as bad as the chaotic gift exchange from the previous year, right? He watched as you wrote down the names of the cast members and threw them in a hat.

Kokuyou – Menou

Kokuyou: “I don’t have to deal with you and your nonsense.”
Menou: “I didn’t know you felt that way. Pity. I am thankful I can get peace and not have to deal with your megaphone-like voice.”
Kokuyou: “The hell did you say!?”
Menou: “Exactly what you hear.”
You: “Okay! We are done here.”

Akira – Maica

Maica: “His singing, I guess?”
Akira: “You guess? ‘kay. I’m thankful for all those holes in the wall. It’s a reminder not to call you cute.”
Maica: “What did you call me?”
Akira: “Nothing~”

Sin – Qu

Qu: “I’m thankful for your maturity, which seems to be a rare commodity in Starless.”
Sin: “Thank you. I’m grateful for your peaceful nature. That, too, is a rare commodity in Starless. Would you like some tea?”
Qu: “Thank you, and I would love some.”
You: “Can we have some, too?”
Sin: “Of course.”

Takami – Hari

Takami: “I suppose your dedication. You work quite hard, especially with Mokuren pushing your limits.”
Hari: “I have no choice, but I won’t complain. Thank you for helping around Starless. You work hard, too.”
Takami: “You truly are…never mind. Should we get something to eat?”
Hari: “Sure.”
You: “And there they go. Hari is too nice…”
Unei: “What do you mean?”
You: “Nothing at all.”

Taiga – Nekome

Taiga: “I’m thankful you finally came back. I spent so much time trying to find you that it was biting into my video game time.”
Nekome: “Did you have to add the second line?”
Taiga: “Yeah, I did.”
Nekome: “Fine. I’m thankful for my sweetest little brother. I don’t know what I would do without him.”
Taiga: “Don’t taunt me. I’m leaving.”

Kei – Haseyama

Haseyama: “Why am I paired with him? I’m thankful for the great Kei-sama to grace Starless with his presence.”
Kei: “If only I could say the same for you. I’m grateful…for the existence of Starless.”
Haseyama: “You’re supposed to say what you’re grateful about with respect to- hey, I’m talking! Don’t walk away!”
Unei: “Are you okay, (y/n)-san?”
You: “Yeah…I’m trying not to bust out laughing.”

Sotetsu – Rico

Rico: “Thankful for anything Sotetsu does? Is that a joke?”
Sotetsu: “You know what’s a joke? Have you looked at yourself in the mirror? Might as well put a clown nose on.”
Rico: “What did you say?”
Unei: “W-Wait, Sotetsu-san! You didn’t say what you’re thankful for.”
You: “That’s pretty much how I expected this to go.”

Yakou – Iwami

Yakou: “I…don’t know you…”
Iwami: “Same.”
Yakou: “I will return to rehearsing. Have a nice day.”
Iwami: “Yeah…”
Unei: “Well, that was awkward.”
You: “But funny.”

Yoshino – Sinju

Sinju: “I am thankful for Yoshino’s singing! He has a nice voice.”
Yoshino: “Thank you, Sinju. I’m grateful for your cheerful personality. It must be hard to be so cheerful in such a place like Starless.”
Sinju: “Hard? Not at all!”

Gui – Ran

Ran: “I’m thankful for Gui helpin’ Team B when we need him. Thanks, Gui!”
Gui: “You’re welcome. I am thankful for…Ran’s smile. He smiles with all his heart.”
Ran: “Thanks! Smiling is my forte…and pouting…and beatin’ people up.”
Unei: “Uh…”
You: “Well, that escalated quickly.”

You: “He’s zoning out…”

Mokuren – Kongou

Mokuren: “I’m thankful for your food.”
Kongou: “I’m happy to hear that. I will continue to improve the menu for Starless and the cast members.”
Mokuren: “Thanks.”
Unei: “Wait, Mokuren-san! You didn’t even hear what Kongou-san…and they’re gone.”
You: “How much do the two of you want to bet they went to eat?”
Kongou: “Betting is not good, but I agree with you.”

Aogiri – Ginsei

Ginsei: “I’m grateful to have another creative person in Starless.”
Aogiri: “Creative? Me? Thank you. I’m thankful to work with you and watch you design jewelry and accessories. You’re quite talented.”
Ginsei: “Thank you.”
Aogiri: “My pleasure.”
Unei: “Why does Aogiri-san’s smile look so…?”
You: “Lifeless? Sus, sus, sussy…”

Kasumi – Zakuro

Zakuro: “I’m thankful for your…hm…what am I thankful for?”
